Freenode to Purge Inactive Nicks, Channels, and Accounts on October 2nd

Freenode, the IRC network responsible for hosting communication servers for WordPress that will be performing maintenance such as remove expired nicks, channels, and accounts on or around October 2nd. If you have a registered account on Freenode and have not identified with service in 12 days or more, you must authenticate your account before October 2nd. If you’ve forgotten your password, use the /msg nickserv sendpass command to recover lost passwords. Note that it’s important for users who have registered channels on Freenode to authenticate otherwise the username and channels will be removed.
